Lucy Khofi

Lucy Pearl Khofi is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of the Witwatersrand, school of public health, under the faculty of Health Sciences – her Ph.D. title is “The gendering of water, energy, and food in urban South Africa”

Ph.D. Abstract: Water, energy, and food (WEF) are basic human rights, and health, and life itself, depends on these resources. Current projections indicate a drastic increase in the demand for water, energy, and food due to population growth, climate change, environmental disasters, and expectations for improved standards of living. There has been a concern that current WEF resources are insufficient for present and future predicted demands.
